Cold Comfort Farm is a fantastic book and this could have been a fantastic movie. Instead, it was a good film that failed to live up to the expectations of anyone who had read the book. Kate Beckinsale was very good as Flora Poste though and the American who played Mr. Neck was also excellent, one can't help but laugh at Stephen Fry wherever he shows up.
