Angela, Is that You ?
13 December 2000
I don't know what happened, but this is not the same "Night of the Demons" that all us Demon-heads and Angela fans grew to love. The formula and the panache and that made the first two movies such big hits is missing. It's the wrong house for one and the whole style is wrong. Someone tried to duplicate the first two movies instead of continuing on the same line. Amelia Kinkade is barely the same character and someone lowered the soft-porn into raunch.A sequel in name only, this is one big disappointment. In the others, you cared a bit and even liked the characters, but in this installment, you get the feeling that Angela moved location and that the pudding-heads in the van escaped from another movie and took the places of Angela's real future victims. The supernatural style and flair has been replaced by the gore and violence of the "Freddie" movies. Scenes of Angela gliding through the halls taken from the footage of the last movie can't save this. I can't consider this in the canon of the series; if there is another installment, and I truly hope there is, I hope Zoe Trilling returns.
