Girls Like Us (1997)
6/10
Educational Documentary
7 June 2000
This movies follows the lives of 4 girls for 4 years. We are first introduced to Anna, Lisa, De'yona, and Raelene and then given 10-15 synopsi of a year in their lives. The years are progressed to through on screen divisions. By the end of the film, the girls current status is given. Neither girl's life can be predicted, but they all deal with teenage pregnancy, family support, and educational attainment. Despite (or because of its subject matter), the film is a good/educational study of adolescence and it yields different insights during each viewing.
