10/10
Original and simple, sensible and casual; superb photography, choreography and music.

The Tango Lesson is a strikingly good movie for it's simplicity, originality, casual tenderness, beauty and a straightforward narrative. The black and white photography could not be better transmitting the ambiences of places and people related to Tango in major cities that we recognize by sophisticated details. The scenes evolve like beautiful pictures of movement and music. The few actors succeed in showing the cosy small and great drama of two persons meeting and loving each other amidst two objectives, dancing and making a great movie; pursuing excellence with emotion.
