I naturally compared this latest version of Halloween with the earlier versions so was not surprised at the action. Unfortunately, because the theme was established, there were no surprises. However, it was well produced and acted. More use could have been made of the effects which were not available at the time of the original. Also please be more innovative with the storyline when resurrecting old themes.
