This is a funny little movie about growing up when you are a teenage girl and you have to live with your sexuality. For me the best thing about this movie is that there are no PC in it. But in the USA, for making a movie without PC, you have to go back in time. Here we are in 1976 : nobody howls if Arkin smokes, nobody is making noise because there are bad sex jokes in it. Direction of Tamara Jenkins is good and sometimes inventive. Young star Natasha Lyonne is superb!
