Mont-Dragon (1970)
Deserves to be part of the bottom 100 of FRench movies.

If we needed a proof that Jacques Brel's choices as an actor did not match his unquestionable talents as a singer-songwriter, we would have to take "Mont-Dragon":it really stinks,it sucks ,one of the worst and most despicable French movies ever made.Jean Valère the director wanted to shock deeply his audience ,he only succeeds in making himself a laughing stock. With such a screenplay which includes S/M,voyeurism,fetishism ,lesbianism,it would have taken Luis Bunuel's genius ("Belle de Jour" "journal d"une femme de chambre")to pull it off :alas ,Valere is an absolute nonentity and even if Brel tries his best to look perverse and cynical,he 's sadly unsupported by the rest of the cast (two good actors ,Catherine Rouv el and Paul Le Person are wasted and even hold up to ridicule) ,particularly the young man who plays a caricature of a student circa 1968 and the Lady who sleeps with her chamber maid.

The movie could appeal to horses lovers;these noble animals steal the show.
