I knew that this was not a typically Douglas type film from an interview that I saw on film night so I was expecting something different. I was not expecting to be bored with feeling that I had wasted my money and time in going to see it.
The story was slow to start and when I did find out what it was about, it made no sense. The characters were certainly mixed and although the events were just plausable, the combination did not work. The happy ever-after ending was nice but seemed not to align with the what went on before. The film was well directed and well acted but it did doing anything for me, but maybe I am too stuck on the type of films that I expect Michael Douglas to be in. What is wrong with stero-typing anyway !
