This movie is a ride to go on - not to question and not to say - where's my A to B to C plot? It's as if David Lynch and David Cronenberg got smashed on sake and tried to make a Japanese creepfest. There are amazingly disturbing visuals through out the film - there are also loooooong dragged out parts that go nowhere and are slow and tired. But if you just go with it and enjoy some real creepy, odd and frightening sequences - you too may go down the vortex!!!! (By the way - the use of snails and snail's shells is pretty damn original and impressive.)Film might be better enjoyed if you partake in a alcoholic beverage or that wonderful plant that Mother Nature has provided. Just a suggestion for this particular weird little film.
