Jeanne Moreau surprises us yet again
3 June 2001
How can a respectable sixty-something woman end up killing several men in cold blood? After the triumphant success of his "Count of Monte Cristo", Josée Dayan moves onto this catalogue of vengeance, preserving the mystery around the past of Jeanne Moreau. The construction of the film as a puzzle and with it the obsession with the aquatic element, captured in various forms (stretches of water, swimming pool, aquarium), confer a unique style in this production, interpreted, notably by Guillaume ( " the apprentices " ) and Julie Depardieu.
