I can totally relate with Emma. I know exactly how it feels when your mother wants to take over your life. She's lucky that even though her mother can be a bit demanding at times she still knows her mother loves her. My mom and I haven't been in good terms since i was 13 (I'm 18 now). At a young age I've learned to hate her and instead of understanding me she built a wall between the two of us. Emma's lucky because even as she pushes her mother away her mom continues to reach out.
I cried throughout the film because i realized that I would never do what Emma did for her Mom and it scared me. My coldheartedness scared me. I can't even say I love my mom anymore.
I give this movie a thumbs up. The actors were really good. The movie was touching & I hope that a lot more people were touched and given hope. They should realize that life is short and that they should value every time spent with their family. I've lost all hope and I hope you guys don't.
