Good Morning, Miami (2002–2004)
Absurd Attempt at Many Things
27 February 2003
What does this show have to do with Miami?

Besides the ridiculous 'intro' shots and their early insulting caricature of what a Cuban is supposed to look and act like, this program has nothing going for it. It is mildly interesting and marginally funny.

OK, there's wonderful Suzanne Pleshette - she can do no wrong. But...

This is a deplorable attempt at portraying Miami and how Miami really is. Why aren't there any regular Cuban characters, or extras who are not stereotypes?

I was really looking forward to this program. Hollywood has no clue about how wonderful this program COULD HAVE BEEN. Of course, it's too much trouble to find out what might be funny about Miami - first hand.

Miami is like absolutely no other city in the United States...there is a great variety of cultures and languages. None of which has been used in a positive manner in this program..let alone to create 'comedy'.

This program could have taken place ANYWHERE in America...it's a cheap shot to bank on the coolness of Miami...without any of the coolness in the show.

All I can say is: whatever...
