So I went to see Catwoman on opening night with a friend and was so worried that we were about to walk into an empty theater. After all, everyone has pretty much dissed the movie without even seeing it. Havent we learned that trailers dont always tell us everything?? Well much to my surprise the theater was packed! All ages in fact! I was so excited to see there were others like me who were just as thrilled to finally see Catwoman on the screen! I really enjoy the movie a lot. Dont get me wrong, its no Batman but I thought it was a great new take on a classic DC comics character. I do have to admit that it did have a slow start and there's way to many CG effects through out the film. But other than that, Halle Berry did an awesome job as did Sharon Stone playing her nemesis. I dont know if this film will produce any sequels but even if it doesnt, I still think its a great film that should be looked at with more of an open mind. Even if you dont like it.... at least you can admit Halle looks great in leather! Overall, this is a fun and fast paced popcorn flick that leaves you wishing you could see more of her adventures...hopefully we will!!!
