Rating this movie on a serious level would be foolish, so why even bother? It's full of plot holes, bad characters, bad script, bad budget... Bad everything.
Which is exactly why this is an amazing movie. Somehow everyone in the cast and crew thought this was a serious movie, so it's delivered on such a high level of camp that it's totally enjoyable. Laugh as the director tries to make things suspenseful, grin at the morons that are characters as they spout out one bad line after another, and you'll definitely be snickering at the shoddy special effects.
This is a great cult classic, which definitely has its own audience. B movie lovers should eat this one up, and everyone else who refuses to enjoy camp can stick to Ladder 49 or the Godfather or some other lame pile of crap.
Highly enjoyable, definitely recommended.
