hi, i have seen the movie in all its incarnations. i still enjoy it. what i did not enjoy was the changing of then music and graphics. in the cinema and VHS release, the ending goes from the violin start to the full orchestra, which fits the movie perfectly. the DVD version, just goering shuts the door, the music rams in to existence. it does not fit the ending. changing the quote and the graphics are definitely not good. in addition to the spits, hurries, Messrs, and hiekels, they used at least 1 ju-52. the German tanks and half-tracks used in the beginning look a lot like nothing the Germans used. in the increasing unlikely event, the American pilot (fiske) was the only American killed in the battle. the rest where joined by new pilots later and those formed the eagle sqdns.
