Review of Frankenfish

Frankenfish (2004 TV Movie)
6/10
Not bad first part, predictable and bad final part.

When I started watching this movie I thought "what an incredible bad name for a movie!", but I had my expectations high because someone here said it was like Tremors, a horror that I liked.

For the first part of the movie, it held its promise. It started with a bunch of actors that played well, skipped over usual clichés like boy and girl investigator fall in love and the characters were reasonably developed. It was more serious than Tremors, that had comedy bits here and there, and I was beginning to be entertained.

However, when the body count began to increase to ridiculous amounts and the fish started doing all kind of things and when the black investigator with bayou roots eventually ended up with the black girl with bayou roots and there were more and more people coming into the script for the sole purpose of fish food, it all started to smell fishy.

I wonder, how does it feel for an actor to audition for the role of fish food?
