Original no non-sense dramedy that really delivers the goods. The talented cast shines thanks to a superior script and effective dialog. As dramatic as the story's plot may seem though, the whole thing made me laugh almost as much as Wedding Crashers.
Falls short of higher scores in my book, because of a few too many awkward, bul%$%$ty sentimental grieving scenes, which all having been said, don't dramatically impact the movie's quality.
My advice: Check it out at the theater, well worth the ticket price. Not sure if it is the type of movie worth being purchased on DVD, but if only to share it with friends not lucky enough to have seen it on screen, it would probably be worth it. (assuming you're a good friend)

Tyrese (Angel Mercer) 6/10 Decent performance, nothing less, nothing more.
André 3000 (Jeremiah Mercer) 7/10 Solid start.
Garrett Hedlund (Jack Mercer) 6/10 Decent performance, nothing less, nothing more.
Sofía Vergara (Sofi) 7/10 Very attractive. Great performance.
Chiwetel Ejiofor (Victor Sweet) 9/10 Scene stealer every time. Unfortunately not well known to me.
