The last 2 segments are the best
26 September 2005
Warning: Spoilers
You can't watch this film without thinking about the horrific accident that took the life of Vic Morrow and 2 children, but the film is still worth a look.

The last 2 segments, which are based on original TZ episodes, are the best of the four stories. In the remake of "It's A Good Life," Helen Foley is tricked by a young boy to come to his house, in which everyone is incredibly cheery and smiling, showering compliments on the boy. She soon realizes that if they displease him, he punishes them (The most horrific was the girl without the mouth!). Bill Mumy, who was in the original, plays a customer. Also watch out for Nancy Cartwright (Pre-"The Simpsons")as Ethel.

The last segment "Nightmare at 20,000 feet" has John Lithgow as a passenger on a plane who hates to fly. He is also the only one who can see a creature on the wing of the plane.

Each segment has different directors with their different touches (John Landis, Steven Spielberg, Joe "Gremlins" Dante and George "Mad Max" Miller).

Worth a rent.
