Benoît Poelvoorde plays a mass-murder called Ben, he kills people without motive and does it for fun! A documentary film crew finds out about his "hobby", and rather than turning him in, they decide to make a documentary film on him. The film crew joins him and at times they even help him!

I consider myself as a fan of this weird genre, and Man Bites Dog is one of the best. It's a macabre film, not everyone will like what they see. The jokes are as dark as comedy can be, and I love it, Man Bites Dog is absolutely hilarious.
