I marked spoiler because I'm not sure if anything is really a "spoiler" but a better detail then the plot outlined in the listing. I just wanted to warn people in case someone feels it does contain a spoiler.
Basically, now both girls have the gift. The gift of talking to animals is played as a coming of age thing. Yes, both Raven and Eddie Murphy are not in it.
The story focuses on Maya. She gets in trouble at school and her mother is trying to figure out what to do with her as Maya is 17 and acting out. Maya is having a hard time fitting in like her older sister. Her mother sends Maya to Durango, a dude ranch, that her mother went to as a child. During her time there she figures out what both her sister and father did in the previous movies.
Is this movie a blockbuster? Probably not. However, it is a good family-type movie. It's better than some sequels I've watched even without Eddie Murphy and Raven. (I watch between 30 and 50 movies in any given month due to my job.)
