Considering the crap that Hollywood puts out. This is sure to revive your faith in a small group of filmmakers that seem to know what we need out here. The script was well done. Unlike "ebert" I thought the chemistry worked well between the characters. They did a great job of incorporating original score and script that kind of leaves you with a sense of memorializing to C. Reeve. The story does take a huge turn that you wouldn't expect and leaves you wanting to either hate the writers or love them depending how it will pan out. Of course though, it turns out well, and leaves plenty of room to be expanded upon. The effects were great. I dug the original font layouts in the beginning titles. Nice touch. All throughout, I think great care was taken to keep this thing legit. Although it isn't like the comics exactly, it is still a great movie. It does provide options and insight into Superman's inner world of himself a bit. This film will do very well despite what the critics are saying. They obviously are not in tune with the American public and don't rely on it. The only superman fans that wont like this film are the geeks that live their lives inside fictional characters 23 out of 24 hours of the day. I'm confident they will find something to whine about. Nonetheless, a very good job all around.
