Warning: Spoilers
The Groomsmen is about a bunch of whiny and irritating 30 something's sort of like the Big Chill who have absolutely no idea how to live like adults. They formed their own band as youngsters and still practice at times. One comes out as gay and has a falling out with his family. Another almost self destructs because he can't have kids. Another never learned how to treat his future wife. And another is a total failure at relationships and still lives at home. While the film was well cast and the characters totally believable, there was so much whining and crying and total ignorance of life that it just didn't wash. I have never known anyone like these guys. I think evolution would weed out these wimps. If your looking for a Jerry Springer film, here it is.
