This was the best star trek EVER! This on took a story, a story of star fleet and the dominion; and didn't rush it. this story needed to take seven seasons to tell and so it took seven seasons to tell it. It was such an original series, it broke away from what Star Trek had been previously defined it to be and set a new standard for what Star Trek should be. But the biggest reasons the show was so great, it wasn't Sisko or Worf or Kira, or even Odo and Quark (although they were close) or any of the main characters. It was the secondary characters: Rom, Weyoun, Brunt, Nog, Leta, especially Morn! It was these secondary characters that brought heart to the show, it made the stories fuller, more believable, and allowed for those elements in life that makes life real. Humor, love, friendship, this is what we live for, and this is what Deep Space Nine and its cast brought us! now years later, no matter what i am doing, if DS9 is on, i am watching!
