I had the impression that everything was wrong, and especially the quality of the picture, with much of the action taking place in almost complete darkness. It seemed to me like the film director was putting my patience at trial. At first, I thought something might be wrong with my DVD copy, but it was bought quite legally, and I soon understood that Quentin Tarantino just wanted to be bloody-minded. I could try to analyze the reason of the darkness in different scenes but...
I understand that many viewers were excited over the contents of Jules' briefcase at the end of the movie, OK. Were Vincent and Jules two devils or two future angels? In the latter case, they probably had the keys to heaven or a letter of introduction to Saint Peter in the briefcase? Quite childish. Now I stop. Awful is a better word than awesome here.
