An old film, but one worth keeping the memory alive. As a teacher I showed it in my art classes every year for the better part of 15 years. I sometimes wonder how much of an impression it had on the students. You really never know. I do know that no matter the type of student they always seemed to take something away that was special for them. I always had a special feeling for the film and now I see that you can get it on DVD. If you have not seen the film get it now. I though that any film that can show the entire history of the world in such a compact version yet be so accurate, was quite a mastery in film. You really have to watch this part over and over to get all the small bits that make up the history of the world so important.
