Warning: Spoilers
A deadly explosion at a LuthorCorp lab causes citizens of the little town to relive their worst nightmares in this interesting tenth episode of the fourth season.

Lex Luthor is conducting yet another experiment concerning DNA construction when something goes terribly wrong: the lab explodes. The toxin released into the air from the explosion affects people mentally, to imagine their worst nightmare. This is very interesting to see. Lana fears that everybody close to her will die, like her parents did. Lex fears that he will become worse than his father, power-hungry at the cost of others' lives. Clark fears that another meteor shower will hit with similar repercussions as before- that it will hurt those he loves (the first meteor shower killed Lana's parents), and that Lana will discover his secret, realize that he is largely the reason for her parents' death, and that she will hate him for it. In addition, the Kent parents get sick, the hospital is riddled with sick citizens, and the only way these people will survive is if they can have the antidote from LuthorCorp. Problem is, the antidote requires heating to be potent, and there might not be enough time.

This is one of the stronger episodes of the first ten of the season. It is so interesting to get in the minds of the main characters at their very core.
