Film is A+, soundtrack is FAILURE
20 June 2008
Seriously now every word in the soundtrack just describes whatever is going on in the storyboards at that precise moment. Give it a try if you want a laugh. The pop group America's shoddy indifference has ruined a fabulous little film. May all directors learn that you'll always get a backlash from such contracts. I blame the producer, but mostly I blame America.

For example, watch what's happening in the film when the song "Walking Man's Road" comes on. Lyrics are:

Horizon rising up to meet the purple dawn. Dust demon, screaming, bring an eagle to lead me on. For in my heart I carry such a heavy load. Here I am, on Man's Road. Walking man's road.

Rubbish. Secondly, the butterfly is stoned and the skull has a limp wrist. Films made around this time are rife with such inappropriate imagery for a children's movie. Did the director think time word forget, or did nobody care? The voice actors sound rushed and indifferent as well. Its a shame because the storyline is so good.
