I was not too pleased with the movie adaptation of The Da Vinci Code. I read the book by Dan Brown and really enjoyed it. I know when a movie was made from a book much of the content could be lost. That was definitely the case with The Da Vinci Code. It seemed like the main actors were just standing around, waiting for something to do. I would only get small glimpses of what the book was like. Ron Howard should have taken more time to pull some of the more meatier parts out of the book. Religious stories are hard to cover and I thought that this movie proved my point. It could have been so much better. I would choose the book version by Dan Brown instead of the movie The Da Vinci Code.
