First of three of the "Lawless" Movies John Lawless is a cop who is working under-cover trying to take down Terry Bowers, a local thug. Jodie Keane works for the police and wants to be a cop but was turned down. John and Jodie met when he was posing as a taxi driver and he saved her from an over-zealous date. On top of his marriage going bust, a heist goes wrong. A guard is killed, and John's boss (D.I. Snow) sells him out. John turns to Jodie and his friend Dave for help. Inspector Ellis isn't so sure about Snow's innocence and John's guilt so she launches an investigation. No matter how you spin it, both John and Jodie are out of their jobs. Setting up the next two movies, where they team up as private investigators.
