You'd be excused, thinking or even hoping for another "Heat", after reading that Pacino and De Niro star in this movie. Well going in with that expectation, will lead to you not liking this movie. Of course there are other facts, that might add to that (simple plot, pretty predictable, an ending that's absolutely too long for it's own good) feeling.
So why did I give it 7 out of 10. Because this movie never pretends to be "Heat" or a movie milestone whatsoever. Yes it is predictable, but just for the fact, that it unites Pacino and De Niro for most of the screen time together on the same frame(s), is good enough for me to oversee obvious and compared to that minor mistakes/flaws. The supporting cast, do their best to carry the tension, too. Overall a pretty decent made Thriller with two phenomenal actors, who even if they had had better roles still shine through. And they obviously had fun making the movie, which is apparent by their dialogue and how they deliver it (although sometimes I couldn't follow their in-jokes, it still was entertaining to watch).
