Review of The Gorgon

The Gorgon (1964)
6/10
Greek monster title, but that's it...

Warning: Spoilers
What I mean is that this movie doesn't have anything else besides the monster earlier mentioned.

To me, it seems a bit out of place, but enough about that.

In case you are still in the dark, a Gorgon is a mythological creature that has snakes in her hair and petrifies people with a gaze. The Gorgon in this movie is called Megera, and that's not correct if you know some Greek mythology history.

To be a nerd, the three Gorgon sisters were Medusa, Stheno and Euryale. Sorry, I just had to point that out.

But let's get back to the movie now: The acting, story, music and effects are all okay enough. But somehow this movie lacks on a few levels. It's kinda hard to describe, but I wasn't really impressed.

It's fun to watch a 'young' Christopher Lee in action though. It took me a while to figure out which role he played.

Go watch the Gorgon if you wanna kill some time. But it's not an amazing movie, in my opinion.

6 out of 10 stars.
