Fantastic show; Why would anyone in their right mind cancel it after only 5 or 6 episodes? This show had a real character & feel to it; a unique dirty 'Se7en'-ish mysterious spooky vibe that was all its own. Franks journey & struggle to find out what happened to his son is something that everyone can relate to, in some form or another; thats what made the series so compelling.
The soundtrack by Mark Snow (X-Files) is awsum. The acting, direction, visuals, music, story are all top notch, I don't get it. Lets be honest Haunted is 1000 times better than all the #%*@! thats on TV: ten different versions of CSI and Law & Order, New Inventors, Lost (I was Lost), Dancing With the Stars, Stars on Ice (cough ahem), Better Homes & Gardens, Home & Away, Ghost Whisperer, Ugly Betty, Smallville, etc, etc. People want a good alternative to whats already on TV - not another watered-down X-Files clone.
Please, Please, Please consider this: Release the 11 episodes on DVD, bring back the original creators & cast (the guy who played Simon is perfect, sooo creepy); maybe do a film and/or a novel/graphic novel to kick-start more interest and create another Season (or three :)

- - - If any TV or Movie executives are reading this - - - Please understand you have to give a show a chance; 5 episodes isn't enough to reach a wide audience. (Even Seinfeld & The X-Files weren't hugely popular until their 3rd or 4th Season) Judging from what I've read on blogs, forums, etc this show had a small audience but very very loyal & enthusiastic. Please Please Please release the 11 episodes on DVD & you'll see what I'm talking about. Its not too late to make a 2nd Season.
