Review of Kiss

Defying Gravity: Kiss (2009)
Season 1, Episode 13
8/10
Ending on a high note
22 December 2009
Warning: Spoilers
After a rather slow start the series pick up and managed to end on a good episode, it still dwelt a little too much in the past for my liking but the action on Venus was gripping. Having started her walk on Venus Zoe hears the baby of her hallucinations coming from the Gamma site and heads off towards it even though she knows her suit won't withstand the Venusian conditions long enough for her to get to Gamma and return to the lander. Haunted by what happened on Mars Donner is determined that he won't leave Zoe behind so, especially when he learns that Zoe had been pregnant with his child years before. While Zoe is off on her extended walk ground control broadcast footage of practice sessions which had been filmed on Earth assuming that nobody will realise what is happening, however as the episode draws to a close a member of the ground crew alerts the press about something that should lead to the fraud being exposed.

I wasn't surprised that the series got cancelled, after all better shows than this have been dropped before, however by the end I was left wanting more and am curious as to how things would have continued.
