Love this film! It has been well and thoroughly reviewed here, so I need not repeat the accolades.
This film IS available on DVD, but not in the USA. See site Amazon.co.uk and be surprised. The NEW copy I bought is Region 0, PAL, and not copy-protected. It will play on DVD players with ANY region setting, but some players will reject it because it is a PAL-encoded title set.
There are many simple ways around this problem, the easiest is to play it using your PC DVD software. There are cheap players for sale that will play NTSC and PAL without resorting to expensive commercially hacked units. For slightly more exotic solutions (like the infamous NTSC-patch method), do a little research, looking for "PAL-NTSC-DVD-Conversion patch method." I'll not go further into technical details, as that may be off-topic for this forum. There are lots of resources out there, OK?
IMPORTANT note: as not every UK merchant will ship to the USA/Canada market, you may need to select an alternate vendor.
