Secrets of the Mountain (2010 TV Movie)
Pelsently surprised.
18 April 2010
I was told that I was going to have to waste a Friday evening so as to join "The Clan" for a "Family movie night" with a film that was sure to be perpetually dull, boring, and childish because, well it was going to be "ok" for my six year old brother.

Thats what I thought.

I was surprised to find that I was actually watching a movie that contained good camera work, a decent story line and a soundtrack borrowed form Natinal Treasure and The Bourne Triligy. It's the predictable story of the single mom who has family trouble's, and goes on a trip and while gone has family bonding time. If I have made it sound unbearable I must have forgotten to mention the part about buried treasure. If you are an hardened movie watch lots of this film will seem borrowed form greater film such as Indiana Jones and national treasure. These were three point through out the movie that I said out loud "oh no please no" for the simple fact of an over used something or all to predictable solution.

overall this was an enjoyable movie which i recommend to anyone looking for quality family entertainment and adventure.

4 out of 5 stars for family entertainment.
