Dog the Bounty Hunter (2003–2012)

Not a bad show, but sometimes very boring!

"Dog the Bounty Hunter" is a reality-TV show on the A&E network. It's about a family of bounty hunters who primarily operate out of Hawaii and sometimes work in the continental United States.

The family patriarch, Duane "Dog" Chapman, is the centerpiece of the show. He takes viewers both in his home and "on the hunt" for fugitives from justice.

The show can be enjoyable to watch at times but largely it's pretty boring. Most shows are spent building a lot of anticipation about catching a criminal that either they don't find because the police picked them up first, or they do find but the action is either minimal or over all too quickly.

I wonder why they even air episodes like that. I mean, who wants to watch a whole show about bounty hunters where they don't catch the criminal? That's boring! Maybe they do it to show that it's "real life" and that sometimes the "bad guy" gets away. I can understand doing this on some level but it's not very entertaining to watch. You end up making it to the end of the episode feeling cheated, if you even make it through to the end.
