Classic comic strip where the lead character, the titled Great Dane, never speaks, is turned into yet another film where all of the animals in it talk to each other and the audience when ever the people in the film aren't around.
Its an innocuous film aimed at the under say seven set who will never realize that the film is playing for the preschool audience and not their parents; not to mention won't really mind that this is the umpteenth talking animals film to come out of Hollywood in the last five years.What are we getting two or three a year now and all of them are the same.
I didn't really hate it but at the same time I found it so juvenile that it was clear the film wasn't aimed at me.
Recommended for only really little kids.
