Pinky and the Brain (1995–1998)
7/10
Smart, funny and absolutely repetitive

Warning: Spoilers
The Brain comes up with some elaborate and complicated plan to take over the world and Pinky goes: "Narf!". That's basically what happens in every episode of this hysterical show.

You would think, one would be sick of the repetition, but the way the writers elevate that, is by coming up with intricate stories each time for the Brain's plans.

"Are you pondering, what I am pondering?". Again, you don't get sick of this but you patiently wait until Pinky gives his insane reply, and laugh your ass off. The line has been parodied endlessly since then. "Are you thinking what I am thinking?". Reply: "No!".

My favorite episode is the one where the Brain actually builds an alter world out of papier mache. The Third Man parody is a close second. The former is a satire on how people just don't change, even if they got the unbelievable opportunity of starting from scratch. The latter, is just plain silliness. Not really connected to anything that has to do with "The Third Man", except the some basic plot points.

The jokes are smart, even if Pinky does seem incredibly stupid, he does get some of the cleverest lines, usually pop-culture based. That also sort of dates the show. Clinton and Dave Letterman jokes? When was the last time you saw that, except maybe on the Simpsons.

The voices by Maurice and Rob are awesome. Tress MacNeille does some interstitial voices, some really close to Agnes Skinner and Female Executive. If you don't know those, you must be over 65.
