The worst film I have ever seen
29 April 2011
This is the worst film I have ever seen ever! I bought it on DVD for £8 my friend said she had heard good things about it and it should have been a real scare-fest. The story is just shocking you can see everything that comes up and instead of the twist being a surprise it was more of "please don't do what I think your going to do, oh" then a lot of cringing. The timing of plot points is way too quick which leaves just a lot of boring scenes that don't really need to be there I found myself getting distracted by a passing fly or something shiny. Technically wise it's also shocking, the lighting makes it look a B-movie I thought I could have made a better horror film with my college equipment (and I plan to). The colours are too pale and it doesn't have the cinematic sheen that feature films for that price should. The editing was horrendous cutting between a two shot to another two shot which was exactly the same with the focus slightly different it made me cry, there were other shots where objects and character movements are in different places, It felt wrong. The vampires were a carbon copy of the vampires in "30 days of night" appearance wise. The one good thing in the film was the gore and deaths but it's no where as good as final destination.

This is a horrible film that should never have been made, it's a badly edited, badly written attempt to copy "30 days of night" stay away from it.
