Warning: Spoilers
Having watched and been very disappointed by the first film, it was only right that I should see the sequel and hope that it is just as bad, if not worse. Basically retired hit-man Jimmy 'The Tulip' Tudeski (Bruce Willis) now spends his time hidden away, cleaning the house, while his wannabe assassin wife Jill (Amanda Peet) has yet to have a successful hit. Meanwhile, the man who used to be there neighbour, nervy dentist Nicholas 'Oz' Oseransky (Friends' Matthew Perry) is always on the lookout and paranoid that any minute an assassin will be coming after him. Eventually though it does happen, and his wife Cynthia (Species' Natasha Henstridge) is kidnapped by the Hungarian mob, and the only person he can turn to for help is Jimmy. The man who has kidnapped her is another hit-man, and a childhood rival of Jimmy's, Lazlo Gogolak (Kevin Pollak), and so begins a search for the wife and trying to stop the violence. Alright, I will be honest, I dozed off and that's pretty much all I know was happening, I don't think it mattered too much anyway, I was so bored. Also starring Frank Collison as Strabo, Johnny Messner as Zevo, Silas Weir Mitchell as Yermo and Tallulah Belle Willis (Bruce's daughter with Demi Moore) as Buttercup Scout. The performances are once again tame, the story is dull and predictable, and the attempted jokes don't work, it is just a disappointing crime comedy sequel. Pretty poor!
