The penultimate episode of The Wire's fifth season is killing me. Why is it killing me? Because I am so close to the end, and I know that I am going to miss this show terribly.
I give a shout out to the actor who plays Dookie. He is pretty incredible, and the fates of his and Michael's characters are definitely pretty heartbreaking. It's just really hard for me to watch the final scenes (not to mention that Andre Royo is also pretty incredible and his scenes hit me like a brick). I am excited for the finale, but in a way also dreading it in the worst possible way. What am I going to do when it ends?
