Like Al Pacino said "Just when I wanted to get out they dragged me back in". That's what happens to the Wahlberg character when he has to get back into smuggling to save his brother-in-law from the bad guys. Don't expect "Scarface". You know things won't go smoothly in this "one more job" action crime thriller.
Don't mistake this movie for a film as it has that drab color digital look that has never seen a film emulsion at any stage of production or distribution.
The movie requires a substantial dose of suspension of disbelief. If you ignore the distractions of Kate Beckinsale being called Kate and a captain too familiar from insurance commercials the movie almost works.
It feels long and container ships move slowly. The Jimmy Hoffa cement ending required far too many steps to fall into place to be taken seriously.
