Okay, I am really late coming to the party. But with TV shows nowadays, there is little that I truly enjoy about TV today. I found that the series had a good story line. It was strong enough to keep my interest. I found that the love triangle between Felicity, Noel and Ben was a bit overworked and at times very frustrating. I found the character of Felicity Porter to be a "wishy washy." For someone who was so intelligent,she really made stupid decisions. I do like that her character grew up a bit through her progressions, however, it would have been better that she realize that she didn't need a self absorbed man that would probably cheat on her again. No, she wasn't perfect. But really? Ben makes this grand gesture, leaving his son and moving to Palo Alto to now follow Felicity, because he can't live or at least doesn't want to "live his life without her." Yet, when she's floundering because of her grief over Elena's death, he answers that by having a month long affair with a mutual friend. One of the reviews said that the writers wrote the finale in a "and they all lived happily ever after," sort of way. Yeah? I don't buy it. There is still unresolved issues with Felicity and Ben. He is weak, Felicity is weak and they are doomed to repeat the same cycle all over again. I wasn't left with a warm fuzzy. Yeah? And why was Elena and Tracy in the finale at all? The story line didn't follow or flow the previous episodes. It left a lot of questions. But other reviewers have been very detailed in explaining those questions, so I'll just say that it was very sloppy either in the writing or in the editing. Abram and Reeves should have chosen either to make Felicity's jaunt "back to the future," either reality or just the result of the fever. It was just too confusing when they tried to make it both. Also, the time travel didn't even really follow the rules of time travel, either Felicity's younger self would have swapped with her in time or she would have been in the past alongside her younger self. It really didn't make sense per time continuum sci-fi rules.
