I think the show is a little too far-fetched for me at times. The aliens on earth who live among the humans in their New Jersey neighborhood. Jami Gertz's character and her husband have moved into a strange neighborhood where the neighbors are friendly aliens from another planet. Despite the obvious plot, they have made it work so far and I hope they continue too. Sometimes, it gets a little much but I would prefer those aliens than the Real Housewives of New Jersey anytime. They are a lot more civilized. The sitcom doesn't have a laugh track and is filmed on a studio lot. The aliens sure seem happy most of the time even though they are trying to blend into the Earth. The other actors and actresses seem to be doing a good job. The writing needs to be consistent with this plot and premise and that's what they have to work for the season. Jami Gertz has long been under appreciated as a comedic actress for years. Maybe she'll get the recognition that she richly deserves.
