This show was not thought out AT ALL. If they are trying to be true to sex and the city Carrie Bradshaw they've failed. Carrie tells us bits and pieces about her childhood in sex and the city and the first very obvious mistake they've made on the Carrie diaries is that she is being raised by her father and her mother has died...sex and the city Carrie Bradshaw was raised by a single mother, her father left her and her mother when she was 5. The writers and producers should probably have done a better job of either letting us know that this show actually has nothing to do with sex and the city Carrie, or they should have done better research.
