Let me start by saying that I only watched the pilot for this series. And it was one of the worst pilots I have ever seen. How they managed to churn out more episodes is beyond me.
The show has a number of flaws. Firstly the characters are really thin. On top of that the pilot features one of the most unimaginative cases I have ever seen. With so many excellent crime series out there, the writers can hardly expect us to find a light-bulb stuck in a body entertaining, intriguing or intelligent. As if that isn't enough, the characters hardly to any investigating. With the psychiatry angle, I was expecting maybe a little bit of profiling reminiscent of Criminal Minds, but apart from a few really weak questions here and there, nothing really happened.
This show is neither good when it comes to psychiatric aspects or crime. All in all, I'm shocked that anyone finds it good. It's a tragedy.
