She Meets Frank in the Docking Station on the Empire State Building as he floats in via Dirigible. Meanwhile, in the Dock Restaurant, a Doctor Armand Silva (Alon Aboutboul) is having a casual discussion about the Weather with another man - When Dr. Silva exchanges water glasses with the man, the man soon goes into the bathroom sick - And Beetles start eating their way out of his body. as Silva Collects them.
Fringe is called in, they bring the Beetle to Bug Lady Mona Foster (Julie McNiven) who has a crush on Charlie Francis - She shows them that this particular beetle only lives in Sheep. Since the Sheep are all dead, how are these Beetles showing up in people?
Frank even joins in the search. Alt-Astrid suggests "asking the public" so this is what they do - They get Called by Silva's ex-Lab Partner, who identifies Silva as the guy who knows all about these critters.
Silva, who is "harvesting" the bug from the unfortunate fellow at the Empire Dock - And runs a test on it, which fails and Silva starts kicking his equipment while muttering censored curses.
Meanwhile, Frank is trying to keep it secret from Fauxlivia that he is going to propose - But he blabs to Fauxlivia's New Fringe Division Boss - Agent Lincoln Lee. Who tells her immediately. All is Fair in the Fringe Division Love and War department, as we know that Lee has been pursuing Fauxlivia for as long as they have been Partners. So, we know he is not really maliciously trying to bog it up between her and Frank. but he is mucking it up nevertheless.
Silva tries again, with a new victim in a Pie shop. Who is again shown with streams of Beetles from his neck, and Silva Below, catching them with glee in a glass tray.
Fringe Div finds out where Silva could be running a Lab, because he needs a cold storage room with Liquid H. But Silva locks Lee in Cold Storage, and imprisons Fauxlivia after she accidentally falls through a broken catwalk.
Silva is shown giving Fauxlivia a glass of Water - Is he infecting Fauxlivia with Bugs? She does start getting sick, and this is what everyone thinks - Frank has a poison that can kill the bugs if in fact she has them. Lee freezes the lock in the cold storage room and is able to get out and call in the Fringe Div Calvary.
Meanwhile Silva makes Lee and Francis believe that Fauxlivia is infected and that he will help them stop the infection, if they help him with "one last experiment"
But Nothing is as it Seems, and that is the case here. Fauxlivia IS sick, but not with Beetles - She is sick with something else, that usually manifests in the morning!
This must have been a kick in the arse to Frank, but what is Fauxlivia going to do, tell him Classified Fringe Division Secrets that she was in fact on the other side? At the end of the day, Fauxlivia is just like Our Olivia and will do the right thing. But in Franks case, she can't.
And of course, Alternate Brandon, aka "Brandonate" - Has a specific idea on exactly how to exploit this new development for The Red Verse' benefit. Se he sets it in motion - With Walternate's blessing.
