I've to be honest at first. I am a big "The Rock' fan. I was so impressed by the movie posters and the trailer that I turned my username in my IMDb account to 'sujanfaster'. This is a revenge saga, with a bit of suspense thrown into it. Though the movie is not as intense as the trailer promised it to be, this certainly doesn't disappoint the fans of mindless action genre. Though the plot isn't thick, the screenplay is good and the director makes sure the protagonist doesn't waste any time. Dwayne Johnson delivers one of the best performances in his career. He has less words to speak and more emotions to show. Other characters have done their bit, but the problem is they are not well defined. Jennifer Lawrence impresses in a small role that she is in. The bottom line is if you love the movies with the 'hero effect' you are definitely going to love this movie. But don't watch expecting logic and thick plot.
