This is for me what SG-1 should be. A series taking place in space with mission that are solved with difficulties. Th e entry 1.15 and 1.16 were laughable and even a bit boring sometimes and I started to ask myself what the hype was and still is surrounding SG-1. But by viewing this episode I'm back on track.

When SG-1 arrives on a mission on P4A-771 they are immediately under fire from Goa'uld troopers. No hesitation and they enter the stargate to return to base but only Teal'c and Dr. Daniel Jackson return but not only that, the stargate is damaged too. Out of order as it is Captain Carter and Colonel O'Neill are awakening on a icy planet. But due the damage of the stargate they are hurt too, the Colonel has a broken leg and rib. Nothing seems to work and they are on their own. Excellent from that moment on with a few good jokes when Carter is sharing the bed with O'Neill. You see it coming, is it your gun or...A rescue mission has to be sent but were are they?

Suspense and good effects once we see the icy planet. This is what it should be. I admit, it's a low budget series but here they show that it can be done.
