I am partly rating this film a 10 because I feel the overall rating is much too low. Mostly, though, I feel those stars are well-deserved. This movie is absolutely beautiful in terms of cinematography, and very riveting, story-wise. What is the one thing every living being must do or attempt to do? From chimp to human to bullfrog? Survive. This is precisely what this film was about. Survival. Simple, perhaps, but when the main theme of a film touches survival, and is coupled with great actors, a superb music score and continuous suspense and excitement, it will be nothing short of gripping.
